Last night the cottage received another guest - my father! It is his second visit and he is here for about 2 weeks. After finally arriving back here after midnight last night we had a lazy day wandering around the area near our house. It is amazing how many shrines etc. there are hidden in the bush! He also got lessons in digging bamboo from my father-in-law. Easy if you know how!
Peeling the bamboo is the next stage and my children decided to lend a hand... helpful or not it is always difficult to tell!
